Valcorba, or the sentence pronounced by the Left
This would be material for more than one symposium with Freud, Adler and Frankl.
It should be the object of deep psycho-political analysis.
What happened to intellectually well-endowed peoples who, to this day, continue to follow ideological slogans that lead them to destruction.
How Nazi, Stalinist, Maoist, fascist or socialist conceptions of any kind continue to survive.
Today it is repeated that beasts come to find the purpose of their lives in cruelly subjugating their peoples, deliberately producing their collapse.
They provoke a spiral of cruelty that begins with utopias and ends in madness.
National Socialism fell, fascism fell, the Berlin Wall fell, Mao and his “Great Leap Forward” fell.
All of them exposed the worst version of man as a wolf to man.
Yet the same promoters of economic appropriation in order to live off others still survive, together with social destruction through a monstrous State, exile, catastrophes of hunger and death.
And all their light versions that inevitably drift, sooner or later, to the same conclusion: justifying the castration of human beings of their natural rights, freedom, life and property.
Their historical accomplices continue to sell them as liberators from poverty.
They continue to promise equality in wealth.
They continue to persecute those who, through effort, achieve a better quality of life and those who create real opportunities to overcome poverty.
While somewhere in the world a castrated, exiled, starved and humiliated people tries to shake off these twenty-first-century phoenixes who live on the wrong side of history, accomplices in castrating free thought and economic independence continue to operate.
Within part of the local political leadership, struggling to expand its own power, there is a stubborn insistence on vindicating these socialist and communist paths while disguising their inhuman actions.
A pandemic-like international action that plays on the edge.
Borderline with a personality disorder, an induced mental condition that causes emotional instability, impulsiveness and chaotic relationships, characterized by all-or-nothing thinking.
They have been induced into irrationality, voluntarism, stubbornness, envy and a drive toward chaos.
They punish those who did better at the fair, punishing everyone, even themselves, creating an unlivable society.
Wherever twentieth- and twenty-first-century socialism was applied, policies of redistribution and appropriation of what belongs to others generated rich dictatorships and extremely poor peoples.
In their passage through democracy, they tore it to shreds. Rights do not fit with them, they are the only law.
No one can plead ignorance of these genocidal experiments crowned with terrorism.
Only those who rule badly because it does not suit them to expose the coming abyss.
They begin by considering public spending to be infinite.
They justify that impoverishment has nothing to do with tax pressure.
They claim debt is neutral, because if you cannot pay, you do not pay.
They insist that there is always fiscal space to confiscate the money of the governed because everything belongs to the State, and “L’État, c’est moi”.
They can squander arbitrarily because the popular vote gave them impunity for corruption.
Because they are convinced they know better how to use it.
Because the authoritarian manual demands it as a way of transferring to themselves the capital of those who work and produce.
They are arrogant by authoritarian imposition.
They do not know because they do not study or make an effort. They do not reason, but they believe they know enough to run the economy and regiment society.
THE FALLACY OF THE IGNORANT
The willfully ignorant has a small point of knowledge and believes he knows everything because he sees no further than his limited sphere.
Within the vast circle of human knowledge that expands exponentially at a quantum speed, the circumference of ignorance also expands.
That frontier is the contact with everything the ignorant does not know.
Authoritarians plan the lives of others according to their tiny vision of knowledge.
They look through a keyhole at a whole world that has its own rules, none.
Friedrich Hayek’s concept of spontaneous order describes how complex systems such as markets, law and culture emerge from decentralized human interactions without central design, generating harmony and efficiency through abstract norms and human evolution, unlike artificially created orders that are limited and coercive.
Individual freedom is key to the economic growth that creates opportunities for social mobility among the most capable, opposing central planning and defending a government that provides a legal framework instead of directing society.
Those who have little knowledge have a small idea of what they know and think they can solve everything easily.
He who has little knowledge has an enormous frontier with the world of knowledge that keeps multiplying, and what is enormous is his ignorance.
Authoritarianism prevents awareness of how much an isolated individual does not know.
Believing oneself superior because of imposed power prevents understanding and solving complex problems.
That is why Valcorba told the Base Committee that the old program the Left proclaims cannot be applied without sinking the country into a swamp.
We will examine its consequences in detail.
