ON THE WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY – Part 2

Valcorba, or the sentence the Left pronounces

The “Program” is a degradation of the human condition.

It leads to the construction of people who come to reject the life they were given.

Frustrated beings, alienated from themselves, who turn their backs on the warnings of those who take responsibility for their own lives, twisting in hatred over their supposed bad “luck”.

The social degradation it proposes operates as a tool of revenge against others and legitimizes every form of abuse.

It seeks to justify oppression through vengeance.

An eye for an eye, where the one forced to give up theirs bears no responsibility for having lost it.

It demands a solidarity imposed by power.

They believe this justifies an equally horrifying collective destiny.

The supposed right to be the sword of ideological punishment exempts them from responsibility for any abnormality when they hold positions of power.

These old inhuman doctrines grant self-proclaimed enlightened elites the authority to trample freedom in the name of building the perfect human being.

They carry a militant license for a violent cause, stoking a collective bonfire to build a perfect society that never arrives.

Their “Program” of government inherits the heresies of the São Paulo Forum.

They are the ideological children of tyrants whose cruelty is expressed through promoting parasitism from top to bottom.

Crushing opponents by treating them as enemies is their favorite sport.

Decreeing collective handouts of money, advancing at any ethical or moral cost over the natural rights of the people they expropriate through police power.

Collectivists do not think, they charge against everything that generates resources.

They construct collective decay by spreading the malignant virus of envy.

They offer collective misery equally, except for themselves when they are the ones making the decisions.

Their salaries and privileges, and the distribution of “comrade” perks, are always safely protected and ideologically justified.

Their “Program” comes packaged as miserable equality, one that only allows those in power to escape poverty.

They have NEVER dared to apply their full recipe in democratic countries where a strong minority stands radically opposed to their totalitarian ambition.

However, they block every liberal proposal aimed at lifting their so-called target population out of poverty.

To disguise the radicalism of the “Program”, they resort to front figures who pretend to be “independent”.

The priority of “Equality of Results” over “Equality of Opportunities”

Their hypocrisy prevents them from applying the proven recipes that have succeeded in the societies that those fleeing their ideology desperately seek to reach.

Despite reality, the left, entrenched in its ideological trench, follows the manual order that the market only produces inequality.

They expel economic freedom, productivity, and growth as engines of well-being and opportunity.

After 15 years of proven failures and corruption, which lifted political leaders, union bosses, and aligned businessmen out of poverty, they now return to power.

They resume their war against “the market”, persecuting those who create wealth, those who earn a better life through effort and natural right.

They return to their parliamentary and ministerial positions with the same incompetence and audacity granted by political bargaining in the name of parliamentary peace.

THE MARKET is all of us as consumers, as long as we have something to consume. We do not need public guardians to choose what suits us.

The offers we freely accept build our own opportunities to undertake.

It is the free exchange of people in the marketplace of life that allows us to produce and offer, to win or lose, but always assuming individual responsibility.

The State as “leveler” of asymmetries

They see public spending not as an unjust cost, even as it squanders scarce resources.

The left uses private property rights as a tool of punishment to sell “social justice”.

A conclusion that is demonstrably unjust and socially destructive, burying the destiny of the poor, the middle economic sectors, and even their own supporters who demand more intervention in their pockets now.

They abuse capital they do not value as a tool of productive multiplication and labor they themselves avoid.

Having never had responsibility beyond militant activism, they do not value the effort required to create resources, and they waste them once in office, while claiming resources are always scarce.

The most brutal, like Castro and Maduro, do not hesitate to commit crimes once they have exhausted the productive forces.

The inertia of runaway spending

Once indiscriminate and permanent subsidies are created, public employment multiplies to distribute salaries as ideology and electoral control over a useless bureaucracy.

This generates a morbid, useless, unjustified, predatory State that constantly refines its ability to confiscate and plunder, deploying ideological semiotics, a narrative that blames others for the disaster.

The demand-side model
Misapplied Keynesianism

Left-wing governments are based on the idea that artificially subsidized consumption through public spending drives the economy.

This arbitrary interpretation of Keynes generalizes and eternalizes what was intended only for temporarily stagnating developed economies, never meant to be applied for decades.

The theory of the “Program” is that by giving money away indiscriminately, the economic wheel is artificially activated.

They claim the economy grows when the poor spend welfare and then require more of it.

That it does not affect those who generate the resources because it comes from General Revenues.

A hypocritical attempt to hide that General Revenues are sustained by entrepreneurs and workers.

False magicians pretend the State can give away other people’s money without consequences for the money that was not invested in production.

Why require effort, training, or productive engagement when political militancy is the only requirement?

Welfare becomes a permanent obligation imposed on those who work to avoid being poor.

The State redistributes at the expense of anyone who has more than the poorest, even using essential productive resources, reducing investment, lowering tax collection, closing businesses, creating unemployment, informality and more poverty.

The core problem of the “Program”

Public spending under the “Program” cannot be accompanied by increased productivity.

Resources are wasted on useless political jobs, uncontrolled subsidies, and shameless public actions, producing chronic fiscal deficits that only grow.

These and many other causes led Valcorba to say: it will not be implemented.
