Technology Against Power

When AI stops watching citizens and starts auditing the state.

Toward a Technological Audit of Power
The inversion of the digital panopticon
By Dr. Nelson Jorge Mosco Castellano

Throughout these essays, we have warned about the attempt by collectivist elites to use AI and robotics to consolidate an unprecedented form of social control.
However, the nature of technology is ambivalent.
Just as the State seeks to watch the citizen, digital decentralization offers, for the first time in history, the opportunity for the citizen to watch the State with surgical precision.
This is what we might call the “technological audit of power.”
Socialism feeds on opacity.
The corruption we have mentioned so many times is not an accident, but the natural result of bureaucratic discretion and the secret handling of other people’s resources.
But today, the implementation of immutable records through blockchain and the use of AI agents to analyze public data can force a level of transparency that the political system has always resisted.
Every peso confiscated through taxes, every budget allocation and every public works contract should be traceable in real time by any individual from his own terminal.
Technology has the potential to turn the “public servant” into a truly auditable agent, eliminating the shadow zones where kleptocracy thrives.
The citizen as a decentralized agent of control
The individual will have to recycle himself permanently.
Part of that recycling is not only labor-related, but civic.
In the information age, the citizen can no longer be a passive recipient of government promises.
The use of AI allows voluntarily organized groups of citizens, without the need for state structures, to analyze the efficiency of institutions and denounce the misappropriation of funds with a speed that traditional justice, always slow, budget-constrained and often co-opted, cannot match.
The 3D production of goods and energy autonomy also contribute to this control.
A citizen who does not depend on the state electrical grid, who produces his own goods and who educates his children through decentralized platforms, is a citizen who cannot be blackmailed by political power.
Technology, by reducing the individual’s dependence on state infrastructure, automatically reduces the latter’s power to impose its socialist agenda.
Economic assistance and the end of intermediation
As for the economic assistance needed for the transition, technology offers a solution that horrifies the bureaucrat: direct and transparent transfer.
If society decides, voluntarily or through mechanisms of tax reimbursement, to assist those who adapt to change, AI and blockchain allow that resource to reach the recipient without passing through the hands of social “managers” or political brokers.
The corruption of socialism lives from intermediation; technology lives from disintermediation.
By eliminating the bureaucratic layers that “administer” social aid, corruption is not only eliminated, but dignity is restored to the individual, treating him as a responsible agent and not as a captive electoral client.
A population that lives longer and is better informed is a population harder to deceive with utopian narratives.
Conclusion: Freedom as the only safe harbor
We have gone through the failure of socialism, the fallacy of computational economic calculation, the revolution of 3D printing, the obsolescence of state education and biological sovereignty.
In all these fields, the conclusion is one: the change of era we are facing is too complex, too fast and too vital to be left in the hands of centralized planning.
Socialism is the system of distrust in the human being; liberalism is the system of trust in spontaneous order and individual creativity.
AI and robotics are not threats if the institutional framework respects property rights and freedom of contract.
On the contrary, they are the tools that will allow man to free himself from degrading tasks in order to focus on what makes us unique: the capacity to value, to create and to serve our fellow human beings ethically in a free market.
The challenge of our generation, and of those to come, is to ensure that technology becomes the shield of freedom and not the tyrant’s sword.
The future is not written in a state algorithm, but in the will of each individual to be the owner of his own life, his own health and his own mind.
That is the only revolution worth defending.

The inverted panopticon.
The auditable state.
Decentralized freedom.
