THE MORAL ADVANTAGE OF LIBERALISM
Its objective is not to reform the human being but the ethics of human dignity
By Dr. Nelson Jorge Mosco Castellano
History exposes a deep relationship between applied Marxism, in all its postmodern versions, and corruption.
It is an empirically proven issue and has nothing to do with subjectivities.
It lies at the root of the model: to destroy the system of free coexistence in order to build one designed by those who hold power.
An attempt as old as humanity to correct the “malignant” in order to perpetuate dominance over others.
A morality subordinated to the immoral objective of destroying society as it has developed, with its values, its human perfectibility, and above all: its freedom.
A remake that comics immortalized with Pinky and the Brain.
A pseudo-scientific theory based on the mistaken impulse of zero-sum history, which was disproven when homo sapiens mastered fire and went out to seek food on his own.
A moral concept that, in seeking to equalize, demands inequality. Its materialist revolutionary ethics is: steal from one another to prove the utopia of a society without theft.
It has been proven a thousand times that it did not work.
It survives as an excuse for the useless to reach power, granting them a license to steal from that lumpen that serves to enrich them.
The debacle of populism (a conservative left of privileges) is so catastrophic that it calls for the self-convocation of the specimens who still hold power, most of them criminally linked to abuses against their own people, for personal or family enrichment.
As is mafia practice: the family, co-author or accomplice, enjoys the ill-gotten wealth, at the cost of reproducing poverty.
They dismantle the productive system, plunder pension funds, indecently increase debt, defraud using old recipes of abuse of power. They trample, threaten, hollow out, and corrupt the Judiciary to ensure impunity.
Neopopulists have remastered Stalin, Mao, Che, Castro, presenting them as mistaken executors. They camouflage the “liberating” system that produced more than 150 million deaths by hunger as a new epic of social justice.
A tragedy, a narrative of incapable individuals disguised as omniscient, who exploit the desperate, leaving behind a trail of dissatisfaction.
A hypocritical, ridiculous satire that mocks the most unfortunate… and everyone else.
Moral Imperative: Liberalism as an Ethics of Dignity
Liberalism deceives no one. It does not distort human reality. It does not attempt to forcibly suppress natural human flaws.
It professes a responsible freedom for actions, omissions, doing good and accountability for harm.
It proposes a society that protects the individual project as long as it does not harm that of one’s neighbor; and that applies justice equally.
The superiority of liberalism is not exhausted in spreadsheets or GDP growth indicators; its true victory is moral in nature.
At its core, liberalism sustains a revolutionary premise: the human being is an end in itself and never an instrument for the designs of the State or abstract collectives.
This ethic is grounded in individual agency.
Virtue can only flourish where there is the possibility to choose.
An individual forced to be “solidary” by decree is not exercising goodness, but obedience.
The moral advantage lies in treating the citizen as a sovereign adult, responsible for his destiny.
Against the coercion of planning systems, liberalism proposes voluntary cooperation and respect for others’ life projects, recognizing that no one possesses the omniscience or omnipotence to direct everyone else’s existence.
It is, ultimately, the system of humility and peace.
The New Solidarity: Technological Abundance and Deflation
The debate on assistance to the dispossessed has been hijacked by a rhetoric of scarcity and dependency.
To redistribute without allowing the creation of more resources, the ideological heirs of Marxism who claim to understand economics and capitalism intervene.
They distribute and keep most of the resources, justifying themselves in the idea that whoever produces takes from another.
This mental distortion blocks economic growth: the one who produced and did not consume everything, who saved, cannot multiply resources through trade. They are taken away by those who never produced anything.
However, we are entering an era where technological investment, which these hypocrites would have prevented, becomes the greatest engine of social well-being in history.
True liberal solidarity does not consist in distributing crumbs from a fiscal loot, nor in letting leftovers fall from an opulent table, but in minimizing the cost of excellence so that more and more people can access better goods and services.
When “investment creators” develop AI, robotics, and cheap energy, they generate a technological deflation that acts as an indirect basic income.
By making healthcare, education, and basic goods approach a marginal cost close to zero, they free the dispossessed from the primitive struggle for survival.
This “assistance with fewer resources and better outcomes” marks the end of the political-bureaucratic toll.
The liberal challenge is to communicate that the innovator, by multiplying productivity, does more for human dignity than the politician who manages misery to secure electoral clientele.
